Texas Tech men’s basketball held their media day last Thursday before they ramp up and begin the season in just under two weeks.
On Friday, Nov. 4, Chris Beard will lead the Red Raiders onto the hardwood for the first time as Texas Tech’s head men’s basketball coach, as they open the exhibition against Missouri Western State.
Quick trivia fact: The last time the Red Raiders had a player selected in the NBA Draft?
2004 – It was Andre Emmett.
However, Chris Beard believes Tech’s junior forward Zach Smith could be the next.
