Two Lubbock rivals met Tuesday night as Coronado faced Frenship in the Tiger Pit.
The Mustangs started hot in the contest jumping to an early 14-4 lead over the Tigers. Frenship would battle back to get it within 4. Coronado showed a lot more effort in the second half and were able to build a nice lead and earn a district win on the road against Frenship 81-50.
Coronado goes on to play Amarillo on the road next Tuesday the 26th.
