Coronado and Frenship met Friday night trying to win bragging rights, a district title and a seeding spot at the top come playoff time.
Frenship traveled to Coronado for the third meeting of the team this year. Coronado took the first two meetings, so this was the Tigers last chance for those bragging rights. The game started with defense and was much different than the 10 runs games we saw in the past between these teams. Coronado did get a few bats to balls help from Ryan Acebedo who hit a 3 run bomb to lead the Stangs to the 5-0 win.
