Plainview took on Coronado Saturday night, in both teams final game of the First Bank Classic.
Plainview took the lead in the second on a Christian Gomez RBI double. In the bottom of the second Coronado responds and then some. Mason Montoya started things off with a RBI triple and the Stangs kept things rolling scoring 5 more that inning to take a 6-1 lead. Plainview tried to make a comeback, but it wasn’t enough as Coronado goes on to beat the Bulldogs 11-9.
For the Mustangs next game, they take on Amarillo High on the road March 18th.
The Bulldogs next game is against San Angelo Lakeview March 19th in San Angelo.
