The Coronado Mustangs met DeSoto in the regional semifinals. A rematch from 2014 when the teams met in the same round.
DeSoto pulled out to an early lead with a 20-10 score after the first quarter. The Mustangs tried to fight their way back, but after 2 DeSoto lead 33-15. DeSoto would go on to cruise to a 73-49 win over the Stangs ended their season at 26-6.
