In a big 2-6A rematch, the Coronado Mustangs visited the Frenship Tigers on Friday night.
After 3 innings, the teams were locked in a pitching duel. In the bottom of the fourth, Tristan Kennard took a Noah Sifrit pitch deep to left field for the first run of the game. In the sixth, the Mustangs exploded for seven runs then three more in the seventh to win 10-1.
Next up for Coronado, they will host Plainview on Saturday, April 16th. Next up for Frenship they will host Amarillo on Tuesday.
