In a matchup of the top two teams in 2-6A, Frenship visited Coronado on Tuesday.
The Tigers would strike first, scoring one in the top of the second inning. In the bottom half of the second, the Mustangs would respond with two runs to take the lead before giving up two runs to the Tigers in the top half of the third. From there, the Mustangs would come alive going on to win 14-4.
These two teams will meet again on Friday at Frenship.
