Coronado Tops Plainview, 4-2

The Coronado Mustangs hosted the Plainview Bulldogs in a non-district matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Mustangs jumped on the board early, scoring four runs in the first inning, including two on a homerun to right field from Noah Sifrit. Plainview wouldn’t get on the board until the third inning, when Trendan Jackson would single to left center, cutting the lead in half. But Plainview couldn’t add anymore, and Coronado would go on to win, 4-2.

Next up for Coronado, they will jump back into district play with a trip to Amarillo on Tuesday, while Plainview will visit San Angelo Lake View on Tuesday
