The Estacado Matadors were in need of a bounce-back win after taking a loss from Amarillo. Tuesday night they accomplished that, topping Slaton, 55-45.
Christian Bennings led the team with 16 points.
Next, the Matadors open district play on the road against Snyder this Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
