The Estacado Matadors had their final game before district play Thursday night when they took on Greenwood at home.
Greenwood was first to get started with two runs in the first. Then in the top of the third Greenwood got one more in before the Mats got 2 out on a double play then ended the inning with a strike out. The Mats rallied to get two on the board, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Greenwood 3-2.
