The Estacado football team began spring practice Thursday, and the players and coaches were excited to get back on the field after their 2 win season in 2015. With a new coach leading the team, they have a new mentality they believe will take them the distance this year. Last year Estacado lost in the first round of the playoffs and with the new redistricting the Matadors will automatically make the playoffs this year, but Coach Savers and his players expect more of themselves than that.
