Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott spent some of his time off this week to help some pets find forever homes in the Dallas area. Elliott sponsored the $21 “Run to the Shelter” Adopt-A-Thon earlier this week. For each pet adopted on Monday, Elliott covered the difference once a a family paid the $21 adoption fee. This was all part of a bigger SPCA October adoption program called ‘Dogtober.’
