The Shallowater Fillies entered Friday night number 2 in the state for 3A, but would have to test their ranking against the Dimmitt Bobbies.
Both teams got off to a slow start, combining for 11 total points through the first quarter with Shallowater leading 7-4. The Bobbies would take a 12-11 lead into halftime, but the Fillies would come out in the second half to take the win, 33-27.
Next up for the Fillies, they will host Muleshoe on Tuesday.
