Former Texas Tech right-handed pitcher AJ Ramos was placed on the Miami Marlins’ 15-day disabled list Tuesday afternoon.
Per reports from the Sun-Sentinel, Ramos suffered a fracture in the middle finger of his throwing hand. The injury reportedly happened last month when trying to field a bunt.
Ramos, who became the first Texas Tech baseball player to be an All-Star selection this season, is 32-for-34 in save opportunities this season.
