The Lady Pirates held off the Lakeview Lady Chiefs, 47-46 Tuesday night at Cooper High School.
With the game tied at 45 with under a minute to go, Jacey Hise sank two free throws that would go unanswered by Lakeview.
Cooper is now 4-1 in District 4-5A and will face the Lubbock High Lady Westerners (3-2) this Friday at 6 p.m.
