The Frenship softball team hosted Midland Friday night.
Both teams got on the board with one run in the first and Midland looked like they might get a few more in the second. It was Amory Chavez on the mound for the Tigers, with bases loaded, but she got out of the jam striking out all three of the next batters and in the bottom of the same inning got an RBI off a single she hit.
The Tigers went one to win 11-6.
