Frenship ISD Press Release – Monday night during the Frenship Independent School District monthly Board of Trustees meeting, the Board accepted the recommendation of Randi Trew as the new head volleyball coach at Frenship High School.

Trew comes to Frenship after three seasons as head volleyball coach at Princeton High School. She turned around a Princeton program that was 5-30 in 2012 and led them to 60 victories in her three seasons including Bi-District championships in both 2013 and 2015.

Prior to Princeton, Trew was the head volleyball coach at Levelland in 2012. She received the District 2-3A Coach of the Year honor that season after leading the Loboettes to a 26-10 record and a co-district championship.

Trew played collegiately at Texas Tech University before transferring and finishing her playing career at Wayland Baptist University. During her time at Wayland from 2004-2006, she was a two-time Sooner Athletic Conference honoree and named the Pioneers’ most valuable player for the 2004 and 2006 seasons.

Trew takes over as head coach of the Frenship volleyball program that finished the 2015 season with a 25-19 record and an appearance in the Class 6A playoffs.
