Frenship softball played Saturday in Midland against El Paso Montwood in the first round of the playoffs.
The Lady Tiger team dropped game one, sending the tied series into a third game. The game went back and forth with the Tigers and Montwood trading runs, but in the end Frenship clawed back to take the game and the bi-district championship 7-6.
