The Frenship Tigers and Monterey Plainsmen soccer teams met at the John Walker Soccer Complex in the finals of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Kick Off Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams would have plenty of chances on goal in regulation, but both goalies would put on a show saving everything kicked at them. In penalty kicks, Frenship was too much for the Plainsmen, taking a 4-1 advantage.
Next up for the Plainsmen, they head to Witchita Falls for a 3-day tournament, while the Tigers will host Coronado on Friday.
