The #3 ranked Texas Tech baseball team won despite an error filled effort over UNLV 5-4 in ten innings. Jose Quezada picked up the win pitching two innings, allowing one run. After an intentional walk loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th with two outs, former Lubbock High Westerner Michael Davis drew a walk as Josh Jung strolled in with the winning run. Texas Tech trailed UNLV 3-0 after three innings before cutting the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the 4th thanks to an error on the Rebel left fielder and an RBI single from Conner Beck.
