Out of the eight South Plains area teams in the Girls Regional Quarterfinals on Tuesday, six advanced on to the next round.  Frenship, Denver City, Levelland, Roosevelt, Idalou, Sundown will be appearing in the UIL Girls Basketball Regional Semifinals at the end of this week.  Several area boys teams advanced in the bi-district round of the post season.  Included in the group moving on, Levelland, Brownfield, Littlefield, Shallowater, Idalou, Post, Floydada, Abernathy, New Deal, Anton, and Whitharral.
