The LCU Chaps completed a four game sweep of the Arkansas Fort Smith Lions by winning both games of a double header on Friday on a live ESPN 3 broadcast. In game one, a Ryan Rogers homer in the 4th inning cut the Lions lead over the Chaps 2-1. Then in the bottom of the 7th, RBI singles by Scotland Church and Andrew Pratt secured the win for LCU. In game two, LCU led by three thanks to a homer from pinch hitter James Hardberger and a double by catcher Andrew Pratt in the 5th. Fort Smith came back to take the top of the 7th only to have the Chaps tie the game on a fielders choice off the bat of Rogers. Then in the 9th inning , DH Dillon Drury gets another walk off win with the RBI single. The Chaps will next be in action on May 10th in the Heartland Conference tournament in Cleburne.
