Robinson Chirnos received a contract extension from the Texas Rangers to back up Jonathan Lucroy.  Chirinos is very excited to be extending his career with Texas saying…”I feel like I belong here and I hope I’m going to be here the next three years and hopefully a long time after that.”

And Third Baseman Adrian Beltre was back with the team after his stint in the World Baseball Classic.  Not one to talk about himself, Beltre was asked about his thought’s as he closes in on a record 3,000 career hits. ” Don’t want this to be a distraction for my teammates.  The ultimate goal here as a team is to get to teh playoff and win the World Series.  I don’t questions everyday about personal stuff.”
