A perfect season came to an end on Thursday night in Abilene for the Cooper Pirates as they fell to Wichita Falls Rider 38-35. Cooper rallied from a 24-0 deficit in the first half climb all the way back to within three. Trailing 38-35, the Pirates recovered an onside kick but were unable to score to end their season at 13-1. The Pirates beat the Raiders back in October 27-7 in a 3-5A Division Two regular season game.
