It is hard to top a 13-1 season regardless of who you are as a team. The Coronado Mustangs will be charged with this task as they take the field this fall. The Mustangs battled their way to the regional finals falling to Denton Ryan last season. But in their amazing 2017 campaign, they were able to get the attention of teams in the DFW area. In order to keep and maintain that respect from the east, Coronado will have to rely heavy on their five returners on offense and nine on defense to carry them. The Mustangs kick off their season on August 31st against the Estacado Matadors.
