The Coronado Mustangs started the day off with a bang at the Texas 7 on 7 State Tournament defeating defending 6A state champions Desoto 19-14.
That would turn out to be their only win of the day as the Mustangs dropped the next two games to finish pool play 1-2.
Coronado will play tomorrow at 8 am in the consolation bracket against Rowe.
