Italian point guard Davide Moretti committed to play basketball at Texas Tech on Saturday. The 19 year-old chose Tech over UCONN, Indiana, and Utah.
Moretti averaged 12.7 points and shot 37.1% from beyond the arc last season playing for his professional team Treviso.
The combo guard joins an already loaded 2017 class that includes Jarrett Culver, Hyron Edwards, Zhaire Smith, Malik Ondigo, Daniel Mading and Josh Webster.
