The LCU baseball team headed to San Angelo Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the NCAA Division II South Central Regional.

The four seeded Chaps will face a familiar foe in West Texas A&M who they beat in a pair of one run games this season (3-2, 2-1), Lubbock Christian eliminated the Buffs in the regional last year.

LCU went 2-2 in the 2016 regional but was knocked out by Colorado Mesa who is the two seed in 2017.

The regional will be hosted by the one seed Angelo State, all games will be played at Foster Field in San Angelo.
