AUSTIN, TX – Day two of the state track and field finished up in Austin, with several West Texas athletes finding success.
Sarah Tackitt of Frenship finished fifth in the state in the pole vault as a junior. Sundown Senior Steven Quintanilla won the gold medal in both the 3200 and 800m run, and also at 2A Bryson Daily of Abernathy finished third in the discus throw.
