Lubbock High School has found their man as LISD named Shane Stephen as the new Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Coordinator.  Stephen comes to Lubbock High from Mansfield where he worked from 2009 to 2016 as Defensive Coordinator and then Assistant Head Coach.  Before Mansfield, Stephen served as Defensive Coordinator for Wichita Falls High School from 2006 to 2009.  Stephen takes over for Jason Strunk who resigned in December of 2017 after seven seasons leading the Westerners to their only playoff appearance since 1975.
