For the second consecutive year Texas Tech is set to host an NCAA regional, earning the fifth overall national seed.

The Red Raiders welcome in Arizona (37-19), Sam Houston State (40-20), and Delaware (34-21), Tech opens play against the Blue Hens Friday afternoon at 2 pm.

Delaware brings with them a .313 team batting average scoring 7.5 runs per game, they rank 16th in the nation in scoring.

The two seeded Wildcats have already made the trip to West Texas earlier in the season, that ended in 13-1 win for Texas Tech.

Sam Houston State was eliminated by Zona last year in the regional round, the Bearkats and Wildcats play at 6 pm on Friday night.
