On Monday afternoon Monterey’s Braxton Fulford signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Texas Tech.
The Plainsmen hit .571 in his senior season which marks the highest single season batting average in MHS history.
The catcher added 48 hits, 37 RBI and 1 homerun during his final year.
Texas Tech currently has four catchers on its roster.
