Red Raider Baseball Leaves No Doubt in 12-2 Trouncing of Wichita State in Game One of Three

Four Texas Tech batters had 2 RBI each as the #10 ranked Red Raiders whipped Wichita State on Friday night 12-2 to open a three game series with the Shockers.  A two RBI double by Brian Klein in the fifth broke a 1-1 tie scoring Josh Jung and Cody Masters.  Cam Warren hit his second homer in two games, a solo shot in the bottom of the fifth to increase the lead to 4-1.  The hit parade continued in the bottom of the seventh as Red Raiders plated six runs to take a 10-1.  Amarillo freshman Max Marusak put the final touches on the inning with a two rbi triple and was thrown at home while going for an inside-the-park homer.  Game two of the series is Saturday at 2 pm, Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
