It was as close to a must win as you could get at this juncture of the season, and the Red Raiders responded with a 77-69 win over Oklahoma.

With the victory Tech avenged a nine point loss earlier in the season to the Sooners.

Texas Tech led 36-29 at the half thanks to six three pointers in the first 20 minutes. As a team the scarlet and black shot 10-23 from beyond the arc.

It was a back and forth affair in the second half, at one point Oklahoma held a one point lead but the Sooners were never able to extend it.

Aaron Ross added 18 points off the bench while Justin Gray and Keenan Evans added 14 points each to pace Texas Tech.

Up next, the Red Raiders look to earn their first Big 12 road win against TCU Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.
