Texas Tech beat Rice 73-53. The Red Raiders played this game at the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum, where they played their regular season basketball games from 1956-99.
Keenan Evans led all Texas Tech players with 13 points. Zhaire Smith, Zach Smith and Niem Stevenson all scored in double digits as well.
With the victory, the Red Raiders improve to 9-1 on the season and 7-0 at home. They’ll have a chance to improve on both records when they host Florida Atlantic on December 19 at 7:00 pm.
