The Texas Tech Softball team split a road double-header with New Mexico State Tuesday in Las Cruces. The Red Raiders broke a tie with the Aggies in game one twice punctuated with a six run fifth to win 9-4. Tech got a homer from Trenity Edwards and triples from Karli Hamilton and Heaven Burton in the win. In game two exra base hits with runners on was the difference as New Mexico State won 8-2. Mya Felder, Kayla Bowen both went deep in the Aggies win. Breanna Russell went two for three with both RBI for the Red Raiders. The #17 ranked Red Raiders will be back at home this Saturday hosting Kenturcky for the final two games of the regular season before the Big 12 Tournament May 10-11.
