Wayland Baptist lost the final game of its regular season to No. 8 Langston 38-19.
De’Sean Johnson had a solid game on the ground, rushing for 145 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Daniel Martinez continued his stellar season, converting on 2/3 field goals, including one from 56 yards.
This games concludes the 2017 regular season for Wayland Baptist. The Pioneers finish the year 4-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
