In this week’s edition of Where Are They Now, KLBK Sports caught up with Shallowater Girls Basketball coaching legend Chuck Darden. Coach Darden has been the head coach of the Fillies for thirty-nine years now. He took the Fillies to a State Championship in 2004 in addition to making three appearances in the title game including one in 2015. Coach Darden recorded career win number 900 last season and is thankful for who says are really responsible for the record…his players and assistant coaches. He says with the support of the parents, players, coaches and community, there should be no reason why competing for more state titles isn’t out of the programs reach.
