On Saturday Texas Tech forward Zach Smith declared for the NBA draft, however the junior will not be signing with an agent.
By not signing with an agent Smith retains his eligibility and has until May 24th to withdraw his name from consideration.
The forward was the team’s second leading scoring averaging just over 12 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Smith shot 51 percent from the floor, 40% from beyond the arc.
