During Louisiana Tech’s weekly media availability, head coach Skip Holtz gave his thoughts on Texas Tech’s junior quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Holtz compared Mahomes to a Heisman winner in Johnny Manziel, and said that you have to set your game plan defensively around him.
“You have to game plan against him. It’s probably the closest thing to Johnny Manziel. The only difference is this one is 6’3”, and 230 pounds,” Holtz said. “I don’t know how you stop him. I really don’t know you stop him – well nobody else does either.”
