The Lady Mustangs traveled across Lubbock Tuesday to face the Lady Tigers in the Tiger Pit.
The Tigers started hot, but that wouldn’t stop Coronado who overcame and eleven point deficit to pull out the win in overtime.
For Coronado Savannah Cognasi had 15 points and Mariah Garza had 11 points and 5 assists, while Ayana Segrest had a double double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
The Lady Mustangs go on to face Amarillo next Tuesday the 26th on the road.
The Lady Tigers travel to Amarillo this Friday to face the Sandies.
