Monterey had the difficult task of playing Amarillo on the road Friday night.
The Lady Plainsmen fell behind quickly with Amarillo topping them by 32 points at the half. Monterey would get some points up in the second half, but not enough to combat their deficit, falling 76-30 to Amarillo.
Monterey will take on Tascosa next Friday at home.
