The Monterey Lady Plainsmen welcomed the number the 4 ranked team in the state in the Amarillo Sandies Tuesday night.
Monterey hoped to be the first team in district to knock off the Sandies, but they trailed going into the 4th. There dreams wouldn’t come true as they continued to be down by double digits late in the game. The Sandies get the “W” 49-31.
The Lady Plainsmen travel to Amarillo again Feburary 9th as they take on Tascosa.
