The Texas Tech Lady Raiders fell to No. 4/3 Baylor, 86-48, on Saturday afternoon in Waco.
Baylor (27-2, 16-1 Big 12) clinched the Big 12 regular season title with the win.
Texas Tech (12-16, 4-13 Big 12) started off slow in the first quarter but came back firing in the second quarter. The Lady Raiders outscored Baylor 12-8 in the opening minutes of the second quarter and held the Lady Bears to just eight more points in the half.
But Baylor secured their lead as they put up 25 points in the final quarter.
Junior Larryn Brooks led the team with 15 points, marking her 12th double-digit game of the season. Freshman Brittany Brewer was just shy of a double-double as she tallied eight points and eight rebounds down low.
Baylor senior Nina Davis scored 16 points in 22 minutes of play.
