Texas Tech (10-10, 1-8) is coming off a 69-43 loss to No. 4 Baylor, in Waco. The 43 points were a season low for the Lady Raiders, but the bright spot was Japreece Dean, who logged 17 points, going 6-6 from the free throw line.

Kansas (5-15, 0-9) is searching for its first Big 12 win, coming off a 70-46 loss to No. 6 Texas. The Jayhawks are led by Lauren Aldridge, who averages 11.1 points and 2.0 assists per game.

“Kansas is a team that plays really hard, and they are obviously hunting for their first Big 12 win,” Texas Tech head coach Candi Whitaker said. “I think they have continued to get better even though they haven’t been able to turn the corner yet. I think they have continued to improve. They defend hard and will pressure you man-to-man as well as show you three different zones, so we expect to see a lot of different looks.”
