The Lady Raiders wrangled UT-Arlington 79-60, earning their eighth win of the season as they closed out non-conference play. Tech (8-3, 0-0 Big 12) will open Big 12 play on Thursday, Dec. 29 against No. 16 Texas.
Tech was lead in scoring by sophomore guard Recee’ Caldwell who scored 20 points on 5-for-11 shooting, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, and one rebound, six assists, and two steals on the afternoon.
The Lady Raiders featured four different scorers in double digits, including Tech’s junior center Jada Terry who picked up a double-double with 17 points on 6-for-7 shooing, including 10 rebounds.
Tech is back in action when they open Big 12 play on Thursday, Dec. 29 against No. 16 Texas at 7:00 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network and simulcast on the WatchESPN App.
