The Lady Tigers traveled to Coronado Friday night for a district match up.
The Lady Stangs started the game pretty well, but didn’t maintain intensity for the rest of the game. Coronado did get it within a few scores of Fresnhip at the end of the game, but the Tigers pulled ahead. The Tigers toped Coronado 41-27.
Savannah Cognasi and Bailey Walden had 6 points each for the Lady Mustangs. Ocatavia Jackson and Ayana Segrest had 6 rebounds each and Mariah Garza added 5 rebounds.
Frenship hosts Amarillo High on Tuesday in the Tiger Pit, while Coronado has an open week before post season.
