The Lady Westerners faced the 20th ranked San Angelo Lakeview team Friday night in the Westerner gym.
Lubbock High fought an up hill battle for the most of the night, but made a late run to get within 10 points, but that wouldn’t be enough to stop the top ranked Lakeview who went on to win 58-42.
Lubbock High Lady Westerners travel to Plainview next Friday to battle the Bulldogs.
