The Lubbock High Lady Westerners played in their first ever playoff game on Monday night, when they took on Canyon at Wayland Baptist University.
Lubbock High was able to get a 1-0 lead before the game started, when Clarissa Francis split a pair of free throws after Canyon was assessed a technical foul for an administrative error. The Lady Eagles though would rally quickly, taking a 21-6 lead in the second quarter before going on to win 76-28.
The Lady Westerners finish the season 10-18.
