The LCU baseball team hosted West Texas A&M on Tuesday for a one game series.

The teams would keep each other scoreless through the first two innings, combining for just three hits in those two innings. In the third, the Chaps would blow things open with a 10 run inning, started by a Hunter McFall two-run single. The Buffs would respond with two runs in the top of the fourth, before the Chaps scored two more in the bottom half of the fourth. The Chaps would give up one more run and go on to win 13-3.

Next up for the Chaps, they will host New Mexico Highlands in a three-game series starting on Friday.
